I am a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, having experience playing piano, bassoon, clarinet, bass drum, steel pan, and others. I arrange music for vocal jazz groups, and also dabble in arranging instrumental music.
As a vocalist and an instrumentalist, I perform in multiple areas, such as the Steel Drum Band, providing vocal percussion for the Vocal Jazz Ensemble, to being a section leader in Concert Choir, a student leader of the Schola Ensemble, to playing the role of Leporello in Mozart's Don Giovanni for Vocal Arts Ensemble. I hope that the experiences I have accumulated through my college years will show my students in music a love of trying new things and performing a variety of music.
I am a double major in Music Education and Math Education at the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. I have great passion for both subjects and hopes to be able to teach both at some point in my teaching career.

"The most rewarding part of teaching is the relationships you form with students. I had great relationships with my teachers and it made me want to give back the same ideas, concepts, and care in my students' education." -Schanzenbach
